We are huge fans of Style Me Pretty, and are especially proud that one of our Cabaret Brides, Katie has been featured in their profile of a lovely Stratford, Ontario wedding. It has been such a joy for the last year seeing our line of Cabaret Dresses take on a life of their own. From their inception to these individual pieces leaving the store, its wonderful to see where they end up and how they have become part of so many lives and special events. We are so happy to have helped so many beautiful brides this year.
Cabaret Vintage at Sex and The City 2 Early Screening
Check out all of the lovely ladies who we met at the Sex and The City 2 early screening two weeks ago. It was a fantastic evening full of fun and great dresses. It was so wonderful to see so many theatre goers wearing more than jeans and flip flops to a film. Our favorites included fantastic light summer little black dresses and a couple of vintage prints.
The film itself was a feast for the eyes and we loved the fantastic vintage pieces that were mixed with contributions from contempoary designers. We are huge Sex and the City fans here at Cabaret and can’t wait to find out if there will be a third installment to the movies as well.
Joel Plaskett visits Cabaret
One of the things we love about being part of the Queen St. West community are our fantastic neighbours. We love seeing everyone, especially when they pop by the store to say “hi”. Musician Joel Plaskett came by recently and as always it was a pleasure. Joel often drops in when he is visiting from his home out East. He also has a great new cd.
