Congratulations to the Queen for a Day!

Congratulations to Hanna Edwards, winner of the 2011 Queen for a Day contest. She wins the title as well as a bevy of prizes from West Queen West businesses including Cabaret Vintage!
We had so much fun with this promotion and met so many Moms and their proud kids and partners throughout May. There were a great number of new faces who were just discovering the West Queen West area for the first time and some for the first time in a long while.
Dads, don’t feel left out. Watch out for some great news of our upcoming Father’s Day promotion appearing in your email boxes soon. Not on our list? Join the Guest List today.

Lisa and Mina
We loved the easy to wear summer fashions of Lisa and Mina so we were so happy when they said we could take their pictures for the streetstyle section.

Cabaret Vintage Streetstyle: Melinda

Melinda chooses to look fabulous to pick up her Scott Pilgrim tickets
Melinda is one of our winners for the Scott Pilgrim screening tickets we had for giveaway. When she came in the store with her perfect haircut and fantastic outfit just had to add her to the Streetstyle Section.

The cutest fabric pin that works so well with this sweater

Top off head to toe chic with chic little slippers as well.
Scott Pilgrim vs The World: Vintage/Retro Style Inspired Looks

We love the vintage retro style in Scott Pilgrim vs The World
I think its an understatement to say, that we really enjoyed Mary Elizabeth Winstead’s character Ramona Flowers in her new movie Scott Pilgrim vs The World. It was fantastic to see a film that not only used authentic Toronto locales but also had a hint of authentic Toronto street-style as well. We’ve picked out a few pieces from our racks that wouldn’t be out of place in the closets of either Scott or Ramona.
