For the second year in a row, Toronto Life Magazine as included Cabaret Vintage in their Wedding Guide! We are honored to be included and you can get your copy of this special edition on newstands right now.

Here are some beautiful stills of a shoot taken for Fashion Television recently.  The vintage classic car featured is a fantastic match for the 1950’s Tulle Prom-style gown from our collection.  The other shots show the model (the lovely Genevieve) in a combination of original vintage pieces from the store from the 1930s to 1960s.

A special thank-you to Wedding Bells Magazine for including Cabaret Vintage in their jumbo Spring/Summer issue that is on newstands right now!  We were exicited to find out a few months ago that one of our Cabaret Collection dresses would be appearing in the magazine as part of a very lovely shoot in Prince Edward Island.  The photographs are taken at the historical Green Gables cottage former home of Lucy Maud Montgomery and our Tulip Dress really stands out in this fantastic location.

We love that Mary Elizabeth takes the time to pop into Cabaret Vintage  when she’s in town – not only is she a talented actor but a fantastic person.  We have advance screening passes to check out her newest film – Scott Pilgrim vs The World so if you are in Toronto tonight,  give us a call at the store before 3pm.

Check out all of the lovely ladies who we met at the Sex and The City 2 early screening two weeks ago.  It was a fantastic evening full of fun and great dresses.  It was so wonderful to see so many theatre goers wearing more than jeans and flip flops to a film.  Our favorites included fantastic light summer little black dresses and a couple of vintage prints.

The film itself was a feast for the eyes and we loved the fantastic vintage pieces that were mixed with contributions from contempoary designers.  We are huge Sex and the City fans here at Cabaret and can’t wait to find out if there will be a third installment to the movies as well.

Cabaret friend and Lilith Fair participant Melissa McClelland will be playing tour guide to the ins and outs of the music series! We love Melissa’s style and she has also been spotted on the town with her Cabaret dresses. So stay tuned.
