This March, West Queen West will be home to the vintage bridal event of the season. Cabaret Vintage will be hosting a trunk show featuring eco-couture bridal designer Pure Magnolia. The event will take place at Cabaret Vintage, March 5th and 6th 2013, 11am – 6pm. The show will feature Pure Magnolia’s vintage inspired 2013 line as well as bespoke and limited edition dresses not available in stores. The designer will be present with her collection of vintage laces and fabrics and will be able to design the custom dress of your dreams on the spot. Treats and hors d’oeuvres will be served.
Pure Magnolia creates unique, eco-friendly, gowns and short dresses that are made by hand in their North Vancouver studio. Their 2013 collection is inspired by the goddesses of the silver screen in the 30’s and 40’s. All of their dresses are made sustainably using natural fibres and reclaimed materials such as vintage lace. Only a small number of dresses are available every year, and this trunk show represents the first time that these sought-after creations have been available in Toronto.
Located in the lively shopping district of West Queen West, Cabaret Vintage offers a vibrant mix of vintage party dresses, hats, jewelry, accessories and clothing for men and women. After helping many happy brides find their dream vintage dress, Cabaret launched their own cocktail bridal collection in 2009. The dresses are handmade locally; and with a new design coming out every few months, the Cabaret Collection now offers about 25 designs.
To book an appointment please contact Patty at Pure Magnolia. Walk-ins are welcome but you may need to wait for a fitting room.
