It has fantastic fine details in the fabric which make it the perfect little black dress. We’ve decided to accent the look with a 60’s vintage multi-strand set of fashion pearls.

Cabaret Vintage Inspired Dress Label – The Truffle Dress

We are pleased to introduce the newest in our line of Vintage Inspired Dresses, The Truffle Dress. This name came about as many of us in the store think that it gives the impression of a white chocolate confection of the same name. Like the others in our private line, this dress is directly inspired by one of our favorite original vintage pieces. Also like the others in this line, it is available in a variety of sizes and ready for custom order in a variety of fabrics and colours.

New Vintage Arrival: 1950s Floral Taffata Garden Dress with full skirt

After watching last night’s episode of Mad Men with Roger Sterling’s Garden Party; this dress was our inspirational choice. From that same period depicted, this flower printed dress would have fit in perfectly with that scene. Its made from a light taffata with a very flattering cut in the back. Also be sure to check out the beautiful detailing at the waist with a hidden fan pleat to give the skirt its volume.
