Cabaret Vintage in Wedding Bells Magazine

A special thank-you to Wedding Bells Magazine for including Cabaret Vintage in their jumbo Spring/Summer issue that is on newstands right now!  We were exicited to find out a few months ago that one of our Cabaret Collection dresses would be appearing in the magazine as part of a very lovely shoot in Prince Edward Island.  The photographs are taken at the historical Green Gables cottage former home of Lucy Maud Montgomery and our Tulip Dress really stands out in this fantastic location.

Check out pictures of the Cabaret Collection Tulip Dress on beautiful model Frances on page 123 of the latest edition of Wedding Bells as well as the featured close-up shot on the Table of Contents of the magazine.  The Tulip Dress is available for ordering in a variety of sizes and can be shipped anywhere worldwide.  Contact us for details on how you can have one of our Cabaret Collection dresses.  For all the newest information on Cabaret Vintage, join our Guest List.

Stylist Leith Clark on shopping and Vintage

We love the opportunity to see former local Leith Clark now that she’s mostly abroad in the fashion centres of London, Paris and Italy.  Its also fantastic to know that she still thinks of us as well.  Here’s an excerpt from a recent interview with the international stylist in FASHION Magazine. Join our Guest List at the top right corner of the screen for updates on our parties, events, celebrity visits, and special sales!

How do you beat the winter blues? “I don’t get them; I love snow. I live in England, so I miss Canadian winters a lot. I love the burrowing. Everyone needs to burrow with blankets, cashmere, tea and movies.”

Where do you go vintage shopping in Toronto? “My favourite store is Cabaret. I love the boy that works there—I love that he has special things that he always thinks you’ll like.”

Best city to shop in? “Paris.”

Where will we find you? “Bon Marché, Miu Miu, Chanel, Les Archives de la Presse, Serge Lutens, Isabel Marant, Ladurée, Sonia Rykiel and Colette. But I like the Japanese cakes at Toraya more than shopping itself.”
