At Cabaret we love brides. Really, we love everything about them! Their magical glow when the come in the store, their shining energy – each and every one of them unique with individual needs and their own vision of their wedding day. Its exciting to find the perfect look for each of them and to be a part (even in a small way) of their important day.
After first finding out more about our bride we have a variety of options for their perfect dress.
This vintage 1960’s gown is perfect for the bride who wants to make a sophisticated, sparkling trip down the aisle. This Sequined Gold Brocade Gown fits beautifully and is perfect for a variety of venues. You can imagine it paired with a fur wrap for a beautiful Winter Wedding, or shining in the afternoon sun in an outdoor event. When going for a vintage gown there are so many ways of making a piece your own with complimentary hair, makeup, jewelry and of course your own personality!
This dress is an example of 1940s bridal looking surprisingly contemporary. The key, adding these modern crystal necklace.
This particular piece is inspired by 1960’s glamour comprised with a combination of two very detailed rich fabrics and is a part of Cabaret’s Private Collection. The Grace Kelly Dress (as it has affectionately now become known) is based on a vintage original however with contemporary tailoring and sizing. All of our Private Collection pieces are available in a variety of sizes and can be customized to a brides exacting specifications (fabric, colour, length). We now have several dresss in this collection and adding more every season.

This is The Truffle Dress. This name came about as many of us in the store think that it gives the impression of a white chocolate confection of the same name. Like the others in our private line, this dress is directly inspired by one of our favorite original vintage pieces.
The Tulip Dress is resplendent in Ivory! Its a perfect dress for the cocktail bride that creates a beautiful shape from any angle. Like all of the other designs in our collection, echoes the best of a particular decade. In this case the late 1950s and early 1960s where the cocktail dress was still something likened to a piece of art and extended beyond the simple little black dress.
