This particular piece is inspired by 1960’s glamour comprised with a combination of two very detailed rich fabrics and is a part of Cabaret’s Private Collection. The Grace Kelly Dress (as it has affectionately now become known) is based on a vintage original however with contemporary tailoring and sizing. All of our Private Collection pieces are available in a variety of sizes and can be customized to a brides exacting specifications (fabric, colour, length). This is The Truffle Dress. This name came about as many of us in the store think that it gives the impression of a white chocolate confection of the same name. Like the others in our private line, this dress is directly inspired by one of our favorite original vintage pieces.
The Tulip Dress is resplendent in Ivory! Its a perfect dress for the cocktail bride that creates a beautiful shape from any angle. Like all of the other designs in our collection, echoes the best of a particular decade. In this case the late 1950s and early 1960s where the cocktail dress was still something likened to a piece of art and extended beyond the simple little black dress.
