The construction is so mindful of the pattern, even the pleating of the skirt matches the pattern edges perfectly.

New Vintage Arrival: 1960s Marty Modell of Switzerland Original Black Cocktail Dress
This dress is a Marty Modell of Switzerland original Couture design from the mid 1960s. Though small in size, it is a great collector piece and example of his work during this period. In near perfect condition, it would make a great addition to a vintage couture collector’s closet. The dress consists of a silk under-dress with a burn-out velvet accented over-dress in black. It has a fantastic cut and his signature drape on the left side at the waist.

New Vintage Arrival: 1930s Voile Cotton Day Dress in pale mint green
Its hard to believe that this dress in fantastic condition is almost 80 years old. The fabric is the softest cotton weave with a small flower embrordiery detail throughout. The pale mint green colour is flattering for a variety of skin tones and perfect for summer. My favorite detail is the fantastic ruffled sleeves that are cut on the bias and have great movement.
